My records of the year - 2011

By Aaron James Rodgers

Now then, I'm not asking you to agree, disagree or like any of the albums that I have mentioned. I'm not going to pretend to be profound and write some bullshit to backup my reasons as to why I think these albums should be shortlisted, I like them, which is all that matters to me [Note: This list does not include PJ Harvey or Laura Marling]. I know the next question that you're asking, where do I see them? Simple. Just scroll until your hearts content. PS. They're in no particular order as I cannot be bothered to work out which I like best, but #1 and #2 are probably my two favourite. My shortlist of records came from ones I've bought throughout the year. There are a couple that I've listened to on Spotify that would of made this list if I had of gone out and purchased them, notably Real Estate 'Days' and Epic45 with their record 'Weathering'.
