Over the years I’ve gone from building websites in Flash, designing in Photoshop to now mastering Sketch. I’ve worked in small agile teams, where I’ve successfully delivered high quality designed products, to leading a team of Junior Designers within an agency environment.
I have a good understanding of how products and applications are built, which helps when it comes to implementing a design. As well as assiting with the development of my work, I like to raise awareness of my designs to the wider team: sharing the thought process behind a design helps to educate others and make them care as much about the final product as I do.
For me, consistency within a brand or product is key. I've been fortunate enough to be part of teams where I've been given the opportunity to help maintain these standards myself.
I'm a big fan of knowledge sharing and helping others wherever I can.

This bit is all about me
Born and raised in the small Suffolk village of Corton, I managed to escape and attend the University of Lincoln where I graduated with a degree in Interactive Design. That was 2004, and a lot has happened since then. I have been fortunate enough to work with some very talented people on a variety of projects all whilst gaining valuable experience as a UI Designer. I'm a keen photographer and have recently combined my passion with another, football, to create Forfarfive.
In January 2017, I relocated to Berlin.
